What we collect
When you apply, we collect what the application asks: your answers to the qualification questions; your business's legal name, DBA if any, entity type, industry, start date, and street address; your name, email and phone numbers; and your current processor if you share it. When you use the contact form: your name, email, phone if given, and your message. We do not ask for your Social Security number or date of birth to apply — identity verification happens later, at commitment.
If you arrive from an ad or a tracked link, we record which one (the campaign parameters in the address), so we know what brought you here. That attribution rides with your application.
We never collect card numbers — by architecture, the site has no way to accept one. See how we handle data.
Why we collect it
To underwrite your application and make you an offer, and — if you become a merchant — begin the relationship you asked for. To respond to messages. To meet legal obligations, including the commercial financing disclosures your state requires. That's the list.
Where it lives
Submissions are stored in an access-restricted database hosted in the United States, reachable only by Lombard's own systems — the public website can submit an application or a contact message, and nothing else. Financial records, when they exist, are append-only.
What we will never do
We do not sell your information. We do not buy lead lists or cold-call, so we don't supply anyone else's. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate — hosting, email and text-message delivery, and, if you proceed to boarding, our processing partner — each bound to use it only for that purpose, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics load only if you accept the consent banner — declining loads nothing, and no analytics cookie is set without your yes. The forms themselves work either way.
Retention and your rights
Applications and messages are kept while they're useful to the purpose you sent them for, and as the law requires for financial records. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email hello@lombardpay.com — a person handles these requests, typically within a few business days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes to how existing data is used will be told to the people it affects, not just posted here.
